The arctic Circle 2011

Contributing participants on board the expedition will include Chantal Bilodeau, Daniel Blinkhorn, David Bowen, W. Benjamin Bray, Shawn Brixey, Kevin Cooley, Connor Dickie, Saeed Taji Farouky, Rebecca Hunt, Dawn Johnston, Yva Jung, Nam Le, Cheryl Leonard, Marcelo Moscheta, Ed Osborn, Ian Page, Leticia Ramos, Jessica Segall, Paul Segers, Oona Stern, Wyn-Lyn Tan, Renhui Zhao.
Aboard an ice-class expedition sailing vessel, artists of all disciplines, architects, scientists and educateors alike will voyage on a collaborative mission into the High Arctic.
The Arctic Circle 2011 takes place in the international territory of Svalbard, a mountainous Arctic archipelago just 10 degress from the North Pole. The program provides the opportunity for artists and innovators to pursue their personal projects on board while exploring collaborations with the expeditions fellow participants.
Our vessel, a traditionally rigged Tall Ship, is equipped with work space, common areas and ample room for privacy and creativity.
